Violation Dismissals

Prosecution Dismissals

If you receive a violation for Failure to Display Driver’s License you may appear on your appearance date, present your valid Driver’s License and request a dismissal.
 
If you receive a violation for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (No Insurance) you may appear on or before your appearance date, present proof as required by law for the date and time you were stopped and request a dismissal.

Compliance Dismissals

These dismissals have many terms and are not always a defendant’s right. These dismissals are valid if the defendant appears on or before the required appearance date and meets the terms. Dismissal fines are payable in Cashiers Check, Credit Card or Money Order. No Personal Checks Accepted .

  1. Renew your driver’s license before the appearance date on your citation.

  2. Provide your temporary license to the court.

  3. Present the temporary license noted above with $20.00 (dismissal fee) no later than your court appearance date and time on the citation.

If you receive a violation for Expired Vehicle Registration, your violation may be dismissed if you meet the following:

  1. Renew your registration before the appearance date on your citation.
  2. Provide a legible receipt of registration that clearly identifies the vehicle in violation and that the penalty fee has been paid.
  3. Present the receipt noted above with $20.00 (dismissal fee) no later than your court appearance date and time on the citation.
