Dr.Annette Guajardo

I assumed the duties of Administrator of the City of Arcola on April 15, 2020. As Administrator I lead a staff of 17 full-time employees, overseeing a budget of $2.9M annually.

Proud to bring over 30 years of experience to my current position, I began my career in city government in 1990, eventually retiring as Vice President of Human Resources for a local government corporation for the City of Houston in 2018. I continued to consult for another governmental agency until I was voted City Administrator for Arcola on April 14, 2020.

​Additional credential include a degree from the University of St. Thomas with a Master of Business Administration and Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at Our Lady of the Lake University.

​I speak Spanish, dabble in Hebrew and enjoy traveling.

Being a mother to Joshua and Victoria, and Grandmother to Emma Faith are the roles that bring me the most pride.

It is my pleasure and honor to serve the citizens of Arcola, TX.
